Vision Statement

St. Augustine 's has Christ as its model. Our Vision is to provide:

• an atmosphere where Gospel values are encouraged and the doctrines and traditions of the Catholic Faith are taught and fostered
• a dynamic learning community where members develop knowledge, skills and behaviours that prepare them to participate successfully in society
• a welcoming environment that fosters wellbeing, belonging and safety.

Mission Statement

St Augustine’s School is committed to:

• assisting children to become active members of the Catholic Church
• providing opportunities for children to participate in liturgical celebrations
• encouraging links between School and Parish
• being a community which actively models Gospel values
• providing high quality learning opportunities for all students, utilising current research and learning technologies
• providing inclusive educational programs which are relevant and responsive to ongoing assessment and evaluation
• empowering staff through ongoing Professional Development
• making collaborative decisions in an open and responsive environment
• welcoming and engaging families in a partnership between home and school
• providing peer support and pastoral care for all members of the community
• assisting children to value their own sense of self worth
• encouraging children to become active members of their school, local and wider communities
